There are times of real sorrow, struggle, and anger. If you are close to a person with Parkinson's disease, it is beneficial to realize that challenge can affect your emotions.
Sometimes it is just as important for family members of a person with Parkinson's to do what they need to do to get through the days, months, and years. Sometimes it is as simple as allowing yourself to grieve and acknowledge the pain. Other times it may be more complex. It is healthy to talk to your doctor, a social worker, or a psychologist about the emotions that you may be feeling. They can help you find answer, strength, and emotional balance again.
