A two-day course in the new developments in Parkinson's Disease research will take place in London on May 18 and May 19, 2005. The course, designed for personnel in clinical research, medical affairs, and regulatory bodies, as well as marketing and business, will cover: Introduction to Parkinson’s Disease, Aetiology, Epidemiology & pathology, Imaging, Current pharmacological management, Review of treatment guidelines in UK and Europe, Non-pharmacological management, Neurosurgical treatment, Issues in clinical trial design, and Future therapies. The Chairmen of this course are Professor Andrew Lees of University College, London, and Dr. Donald Grosset of Southern General Hospital, Glasgow.
