When a University Professor’s wife is able to leave hospice and move back home, it get’s his wheels turning. He credits “antioxidants and other plant compounds” with his wife’s amazing results in her fight against Parkinson’s disease. Peter Kaufman is coming out of retirement, and bringing his recent life experience with him.
Antioxidants used to be a radical, fringe word that medical professionals did not trust completely. However, scientists have tested their benefit to health, and “antioxidant” is now a word that doctors and others use regularly. Now Kauffman, the retired biology professor, has returned to the University campus, with hopes of furthering the cause for antioxidants, berries, and other nutritious foods.

We do not want to exagerate or create false hopes. It would be irresponsible to say or imply that most other people could expect these result by radically altering their diet. Furthermore, there is not enough evidence to conclude that the nutrition was the reason that Mrs. Kauffman came out of hospice. It would be wonderful if we were able to duplicate these results with others. We hope it happens.
